👤 About the speaker

Eoghan Cleary is a secondary school teacher at Temple Carrig School (Co. Wicklow) and a long-standing children’s rights advocate. He is a member of the Online Health Task Force, a board director of the Dublin Rape Crisis Centre, and a columnist for The Irish Times and Journal.ie.
He holds master’s degrees in Education and International Human Rights Law, and currently works as an educational expert researching gender stereotypes, media and porn literacy, sexual violence, and consent.

This is a highly recommended, practical and thought-provoking talk for any parent navigating the realities of raising children in today’s digital world.

This talk is aimed at parents, guardians and carers of both younger children and teenagers, as well as adults working with children and adolescents.
It is not suitable for young people under the age of 16.

Yes. Booking is essential, as seating is strictly limited to 50 people.

🪑 Why is seating limited?

To ensure everyone’s comfort and a high-quality experience, attendance is limited to 50 seats. Once capacity is reached, bookings will close.

Who is Eoghan Cleary?

Eoghan Cleary is a secondary schoolteacher at Temple Carrig School, Co Wicklow. He is a lifelong children’s rights activist currently advocating for the protection of children in an utterly unregulated online world. He is a member of the Online Health Task Force and serves as a director on the board of the Dublin Rape Crisis Centre. He is the author of multiple textbooks, a columnist for The Irish Times and Journal.ie and has masters degrees in Education and International Human Rights Law, among others. He is currently working as an educational expert with the Sexual Exploitation Research and Policy Institute developing and researching the impact of his educational programme on gender stereotypes, media and porn literacy, sexual violence and consent
